Why a study guide? Exploring the Gap Between Science delves into some of those hard/easy questions that lie at the heart of a philosophical view of the world. It touches on such central questions as: What is truth? Does science do what we think it does? Shall I worship the God I created, or the God that created me? How do I know which God I am worshipping? These questions are challenging. I know because I've strugged with them myself. This study guide is available to you free of charge so that you can dialog with others about these issues? My response to her and to her is as follows: I am not here to present or convince anyone of my beliefs. I do touch on some conclusions that I have come to after writing the book, but my real goal in writing the book is to investigate the issues that so troubled me as a young philsopny student. What do I want you to believe? In all honesty, I will measure success of this book not on whether you agree with me, but whether you feel you have grown. But yes. I have no doubt that the words in the book will challenge and even disturb some readers.
